Program triggers

GENERAL NOTES:

• Normally programs for mobs will not trigger if mobs cannot see the character triggering it. This does not apply to allgreet trigger though.
• Generally <percentage> refers to the chance that the program is triggered. Only exception is hitprct prog.
• Most programs run all lines at once and cant be thought to run "instanteously" for all practical purposes. The exception to this are script and hour programs. These run one line of the program per round. To space out the action in these programs, use mpnothing command.

TRIGGER TYPE	TRIGGER PHRASE	CAN BE TRIGGERED ON
act	(p) <action phrase>	MOB	OBJ	ROOM
If you put a "p " in front of the action phrase, it signifies to trigger off only that exact phrase. Otherwise it will trigger off any action containing any of the words in the action phrase. Generally, its most helpfull to use the "p ". For example if you want to trigger off someone dancing, use "p dances.". If you omit the "p ", then it would also be triggered off someone handing someone else a "ticket to a dance", or any other action with the word "dance" in it. Remember that the action phrase is as people in the room would see it. For example, if you want to trigger off someone picking up a large shovel, it would be "p gets the large shovel.".
allgreet	<percentage>	MOB	OBJ
Triggers off anyone entering room, reguardless of whether or not they are hidden or invis or whatever. Compare with entry, greet, and leave. Those are commonly confused with eachother.
birth	<percentage>	MOB	OBJ
Triggers when mob is created as part of a normal reset, but before they are equipped with objects by any subsequent resets. This is useful for having custom pseudo-resets for thing that do not have a standard way of happening, or perhaps so that a mob can announce to the world that they are alive again. Perhaps, for example, mob can have a 5% chance to mpoload something and equip it.
bribe	<amount of bribe>	MOB
If the mob cannot see the person giving them the gold, it will NOT trigger. The character giving the gold still loses the gold though. If person gives them an amount greater than the bribe amount it will still trigger. Therefore if a mob has multiple bribe triggers than the order of them is important. If you want the mob to have a prog for 200 gold and for 400 gold, the one for the 400 must come first, otherwise, the 200 one will always be triggered for any amount over 200 and the 400 one will never trigger.
damage	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when object is damaged.
death	<percentage>	MOB		ROOM
For mobs, this is triggered when mob dies. For rooms, if anyone dies in the room, this is triggered.
drop	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when object is dropped.
entry	<percentage>	MOB		ROOM
For mob, triggered when the mob enters a room. For Rooms, when anyone enters the room. Compare with allgreet, greet, and leave. Those are commonly confused with eachother.
exa	<percentage>		OBJ
When object is examined, this program is triggered.
fight	<percentage>	MOB	OBJ	ROOM
For mobs, fight_prog is triggered once per round of violence. For rooms, fight_ prog is triggered once per character in the room. Triggered once per round of violence for objects in wield or dual_wield position.
get	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when object is picked up.
give	<"all" | exact obj name string>	MOB
Triggered when an object is given to mob. I recommend using the "all" option, then doing "if ovnuminv(<vnum>) > 0". This way you can make sure its the right object instead of relying on it to have some exact unique name.
greet	<percentage>	MOB	OBJ
Triggers off anyone entering room, reguardless of whether or not they are hidden or invis or whatever. Compare with allgreet, entry, and leave. Those are commonly confused with eachother.
hitprcnt	<percentage>	MOB
Triggered when a mob's hp's are at a certain level. For example, if the mob has 400 hps when full, and you set it to trigger at 25%, will trigger when mob's hps are ever at 100 or below. Checked at beginning of every round of violence.
hour	<time to start>	MOB		ROOM
Script program that starts on time specified and runs for one hour.
leave	<percentage>			ROOM
Triggered when someone leaves the room.
look	N/A
Not in use yet.
pull	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when a pullchain, lever, switch, or button is pulled.
push	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when a pullchain, lever, switch, or button is pushed.
rand	<percentage>	MOB	OBJ	ROOM
Triggered every tick for rooms and objects; every round for mobs. Great for adding flavor for you mob and atmosphere for a room. For example, can be used to have a reoccuring sound or smell. For mobs, try to keep the percentage under 7, otherwise mob gets REALLY annoying.
remove	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when an object is removed.
repair	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when an object is repaired.
reset	<percentage>	MOB	OBJ	ROOM
Triggered when area resets, after all resets have been done. Will trigger for any object in a room when area resets, including objects on characters in the room. Objects on the ground in a storeroom, or a donation room will NOT be triggered.
rest	<percentage>			ROOM
Triggered when a character rests in room.
sac	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when object is sac'd.
script	<blank or time>	MOB	OBJ	ROOM
Runs a script program one line at a time. If trigger phrase is blank, mob starts immediately when "born". Otherwise, starts at time specified.
sleep	<percentage>			ROOM
Triggered when a character sleeps in room.
speech	(p) <speech trigger>	MOB	OBJ	ROOM
Triggered when a word or phrase is said in toom with the mob. On mobs, works with any direct communication to the mob, or a say in room with it. On rooms, works for any say in room. On objects, triggers for any say in room with object or for objects in speakers inventory.
time	<time to trigger at>	MOB	OBJ	ROOM
Triggers at time specified. Uses miltary (24-hour clock). 0 is midnight, 13 is 1 pm.
use	<percentage or 0>		OBJ
Triggered by the following: For container when object is put inside it, or taken out of it. Wand, staff, scroll, potion, icon, or instrument, is zapped, brandished, recited, quaffed, invoked, or played. When object is successfully worn. If you specify 0, normally the program would not be triggered ever. However, this is to specify the program to be triggered when the items is "used". For example, "use magicstone", would invoke the "use_prog 0" program, if it had one.
wear	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered before the time is succesfully worn. This was changed to allow custom wearability checks. See mpnowear, and *special.
zap	<percentage>		OBJ
Triggered when object zaps someone (due to alignment flag, class flag, etc).
