Habelins

[Sometimes called "halflings" or "hobbits" in other worlds]

Habelin are similarly built to humans but quite a bit smaller in stature. They see the world from a 3/4 scale but consider themselves to be normal and every one else to be too short or too tall. They prefer to live in caves but also enjoy farming and adventuring. The small efficient movements natural to habelin cause them to move along everywhere as if they were permanently sneaking.

Because of their perception and mentality, they consider shortswords to be"normal" size sword and daggers to be "shortswords". Therefore they wield them as such and are very efficient in doing so.

Habelins innate "sneak" ability, coupled with their prowess with daggers make them ideal rogues. They are fearless though and with the right training, can be fearsome fighters, especially when armed with shortswords. They have neither fear nor affinity for magic and use or not use it with equal care.
