Pixies

Pixies are small winged humanoids. What they lack in physical size and strength they make up for in speed. Their speed is so fast that the almost seem to act out of phase with non-pixies. Every movement is graceful and fluent and efficient.

Coupled with this great speed is the ability to fly everywhere, as effortlessly as a human would walk. This costs them no stamina. This can cause occasional problems when trying to crawl into a small hole. For this they must begrudgingly land on the ground if only for an instant.

Coupling their speed and flying ability gives them another great skill called "zip". They beat their wings VERY fast and can move in a straight line with great speed. To the unobservant it's almost like teleporting. The more obstacles in the way, the greater the chance that the pixie will run into something and stop. This hyperspeed wing flitting is also at a great cost to the pixie's stamina.

Pixies are very fond of the magical arts, both healing and traditional. Their great speed also allows them to be outstanding rogues. As fighters, they are surprisingly efficient and often underestimated.
