changes

General News:

• 24.March 2004: First of the class tweaks, fighter, is being implemented.
• 14.January 2004: New skills and spells added.
• 30.December 2004: New skills and spells added.
• 27.December 2004: Changes made to the way alignment flags on items work. You will not be "zapped" by an item which does not fit your alignment. Instead, you will receive penalties to hit roll, and spell failure along with a few other effects, for each such item you wear. Aligned guilds will receive an even heavier penalty.
• 18.December 2004: New skills and spells added.
• 27.November 2004: New spells added and others have received some changes. Fixed some bugs with housing.
• 30.November 2004: Added a discussion forum to the webpage. This is a simple and lightweight board with limited features. It has been implemented for the time being to take care of present needs. In time when the entire site is nearing a state of completion, we will return to this and see about getting a more advanced board. Use the forum link on the main page.

• 13.October 2004: In late august, the server that Amitoune ran on experienced a major crash. As a result of this, Amitoune was down for a month and a half while waiting for it to be fixed. It wasn't fixed and we decided to relocate to a new, better and faster server. We are back up and running again. Thanks for the continued support and patience.

Code:

• 22.Febuary 2004: Room, object, mobs template cappability added.
• 18.December 2004: More updates and bug fixes for pet code. New item code, can now move objects from room to room.
• 5.December 2004: Some changes and bug fixes to the pet code. Weaponspeed received some updates as well.
• 15.December 2004:Added 16 new spells/skills, spread across the different guilds.
• 13.October 2004:Mxp, MSP and MCCP added. Sound and image capabilities added. And compresion transfer to minimize the use of bandwith.
• 17.october 2004:New 'beacon' command added.

Areas:

• 22.December 2004: A large number of stock and/or common areas have been removed from Amitoune. As our number of original areas grows, we hope to be able to this to all non-Amitoune areas.

Webpage:

• Presently: Still under construction.
• 14.January 2005: Webpage changed from html to php as a step on the way to get SQL working on the webpage.
• 29.December 2004: Large updates done to the webpage, updated look, better browser support, and the new Amitoune discussion forum has been added. Please drop in and register your profile to join our discussion and do your part to influance the direction Amitoune will take in the future.
• 28.October 2004: Human and dwarven storyline added to Stories section.
